James 3: 13
“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.”
“Today we ask a question and we pray God will teach us. Do we celebrate Halloween?” Moose looks up a moment from his Bibles strewn about the helm. Art-bot works quietly in the corner, Q-bot is busy looking up information. “Here is a suggested study. Questions? Send me a message and Lord willing I will get to it.”
Deuteronomy 18: 9-14
I would suggest paying attention to the list of things God doesn’t want the Israelites doing. We have talked about our theory of magic earlier in our material. To recap, magic is Prayercraft corrupted. It is idolatry at its core. God hates it at separates His people from it. Nations who listen to magic types are destroyed.
Revelation 2-3
These are Jesus’ Words to the churches at John’s exile time. I suggest paying close attention to Nicalaitan lines. Spiritual practices that are not from the Bible are hated by Jesus. He doesn’t want us to mix spiritual practices with pagan practices. We learn about that in Matthew 6 too, if you want a reminder on how to pray. Then we went to 1 Thessalonians 5.
Exodus 20: 1-18
Don’t just pay attention to the Commandment themselves, but the how they were delivered and why. God started with the Israelites the same place we start. With the fear of the LORD.
2 Timothy 3: 16-17
Remember that Scripture is all you need. You don’t need me, you don’t need me. You don’t need Joe preacher down the street. You don’t need yoga woman. Solo Scriptura and the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 1: 7
Proverbs 2: 1-9
Proverbs 3: 3-10
Proverbs 15: 1-2
Here are just some reminders in case you want to engage with visitors and as always, don’t forget…
Hebrews 13: 2(NKJV)
“Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.”
Or
Hebrews 13: 2(KJV)
“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Be ready in season. Be ready out of season. Be strong. Be courageous. We can do this. Just remember.
Hebrews 4: 12-13
“For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
Matthew 5: 3-12
You can do this. I believe in you. We have leaders taking a stand handing out books instead of candy. I’ve got some Bibles ready.
So. Let’s get ready to Rock the house.
